Technical Requirements

This Web conference has very specific technical requirements. To get the most out of the information presented, please review the following technical requirements and be sure to test your computer prior to participating in this Web event.

Due to the nature of Web conferences, we recommend that, if possible, you use a high-speed Internet connection. Please be aware that if you plan to use a dialup modem, you may not see all of the content in a timely manner due to the slower download speed of this type of connection.

Participation Requirements:

  1. Operating System:
    • Windows 98 to present, Macintosh OSX, Linux...
  2. Browser:
    • Java-enabled Internet Explorer (IE) 5.1+, Firefox 1.0+, Opera 7.52+, Mozilla 1.71+, and Netscape 7.2+...
  3. Hardware:
    • 28.8Kbps Internet access
    • Speakers or headphones
    • cable modem, DSL, ISDN, or equivalent broadband needed to receive audio/video streaming (128K minimum).
  4. Media Player:
  5. ** Disable all ‘Pop-Up Blocker’ software while participating in the event.
    • You will not be able to log into the Web interface properly if you do not do this.
  6. A minimum screen resolution of 800 x 600.
    • a resolution of 1024 x 768 is highly recommended.
  7. Close all other applications running on your PC while attending the event.
