Stacy Gleason, M.P.H.
Policy Associate

Stacy Gleason is a Policy Associate at HSR in the Research and Evaluation Practice Area. She provides support on a number of projects related to food and nutrition assistance programs, needs assessments for the Maternal and Child Health Block Grants, and the Women's Health USA Chartbook. Ms. Gleason primarily assists with qualitative and quantitative data collection, including the development of data collection instruments, analysis, and interpretation. She has significant experience using several statistical analysis software packages, including SAS, STATA, and SPSS.

Prior to her employment at HSR, Ms. Gleason was the Research Coordinator for a Violence Intervention Project at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and for a longitudinal study on respiratory function and illness in spinal cord injury at Harvard Medical School. As a student at the University of Washington's Graduate School of Public Health and Community Medicine, she worked for the National Alzheimer's Coordinating Center and completed a thesis on Alzheimer's Disease and Hormone Replacement Therapy. Ms. Gleason has her master's in public health with a concentration in epidemiology from the University of Washington and a bachelor's in biology from Boston College.
