Maria Martin has 20 years of experience in professional writing, which she presently uses to provide technical assistance for the Recovery Community Services Program. This entails writing and editing Web site content, publications, concept papers, and reports with either APA or GPO style. Prior to joining HSR, Ms. Martin consulted for various Government clients, co-founding and directing Martin Consortium Syndicate/MCS Records, assisting the general council of the U.S. Steel and Carnegie Pension Fund in legal matters, managing projects for the United Negro College Fund, and conceptualizing and executing campaigns for Warren/Kremer Advertising. Ms. Martin has one bachelor's degree in liberal studies from New School University and one in English from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
