Policy Associate

Katherine Flore, a Policy Associate in the Health Policy Practice Area, provides technical assistance and strategy development on knowledge transfer for HSR projects with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. Ms. Flore currently serves as a technical advisor for the AHRQ partnership to reduce health disparities in pediatric asthma. She has over 7 years of experience working on public health emergency preparedness, adolescent health, and community health evaluation.

Ms. Flore's previous work includes cost-effective analyses of the treatment of STDs in women for the World Health Organization; the design and facilitation of workshops on positive body image for adolescent girls; and, with grant funding from the Legacy Foundation, assisting the Michigan Department of Community Health in the evaluation of teenager smoking cessation and prevention programs. She has a master of public health degree from the University of Michigan.
