AIDS (CONT’D)
As of December 2001, a total of 141,048 cases of AIDS
had been reported in adolescent and adult women in the
U.S. The majority of reported AIDS cases among adolescent
and adult women were among women aged 25-44 years. The
largest number of reported AIDS cases in this age group
was among non-Hispanic Black women.
