Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Directions to the hotel are provided below for both local and out-of-town participants. Local Participants WALKING and METRO DIRECTIONS From McPherson Square Metro Station (Blue and Orange lines), exit the platform on 14th Street and walk straight south for six blocks. From Metro Center (Red, Blue, and Orange lines), exit the station at 13th and G Streets and walk one block east towards 14th Street. Turn left on 14th Street and walk two blocks. From Federal Triangle (Blue and Orange lines), exit the station and proceed north on 12th Street towards Pennsylvania Avenue. Turn left onto Pennsylvania Avenue and proceed two blocks to the intersection of 14th and Pennsylvania Ave. Please see the J.W. Marriott web site for detailed maps and driving directions. The pathways to the Metro station are on the concourse (middle) level of the new terminal. TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS FROM AREA AIRPORTS Area Airports The newly reconfigured Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is 4 miles (6 km) and 15 minutes from downtown Washington, D.C. Follow the signs to Washington, D.C. along George Washington Parkway. Take the I-395/Route 1 North exit (also marked for the 14th Street Bridge). Merge to the far left lane and follow the signs for 14th Street. The hotel is eight blocks up 14th St. on the right side at the corner of 14th and Pennsylvania. Dulles International Airport (IAD) is 28 miles (45 kilometers) and 45 minutes from downtown D.C. Follow the signs to Interstate 66 to Washington. Follow I-66 to the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge (US Route 50). After crossing the bridge, I-66 becomes Constitution Avenue. Continue along Constitution Avenue for approximately 14 blocks to 12th Street, NW. Turn left onto E Street and go two blocks to 14th Street. Turn right. The hotel is on the right corner of 14th and E Street. Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) is 35 miles (56 km) and 45 minutes from downtown Washington, D.C. Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway South (MD 295) to US Route 50 West (New York Avenue). Take New York Avenue to North Capitol Street. Cross N. Capitol Street. Move into the right-hand lanes and when the large green road sign appears for I-395, DO NOT TURN LEFT. Stay in the right lanes until the road splits. Then bear right onto L Street, NW. Take L St., NW to 9th Street, NW and turn left. Then travel down 9th Street to E Street, NW and turn right. Drive 5 blocks further to 14th Street, NW and turn right.
