As stated in the Overview section of this
Web site, the purpose of the regional pre-application workshops
is to provide interested
organizations with an overview of the Health Resources and
Services Administration (HRSA)/Maternal and Child Health Bureau
(MCHB) Special Projects of Regional and National Significance
(SPRANS) Community-Based Abstinence Education Program, and
the programmatic and fiscal expectations of applying for the
upcoming funding competition.
In order
to assist organizations with the application process, the
Application Guidance and the PHS 5161-1 form, which are used
to apply for the grant, will be reviewed in detail at each
workshop. However, it is necessary for each participant to
obtain a copy of these documents on their own and to bring
the copy to the workshop as these documents will not be
made available at the workshops.
The printed
Application Guidance for this competition and the PHS 5161-1
form are now available for download at http://www.mchb.hrsa.gov/grants/default.htm#cbabstinence.
The Application Guidance and PHS 5161-1 form are also available
by calling the HRSA Grants Application Center at (877) 477-2123
(or by emailing hrsagac@hrsa.gov).
The CFDA # for this competition is 93.110 - HRSA 03-058
SPRANS Community-Based Abstinence Education Project Grants
(CBAE).
Please
make sure you remember to obtain a copy of these documents
and that you bring a copy with you to the workshop.
